Pricing Analyst

Siemens Transportation Group Inc., has an immediate opening for a Pricing Analyst at their Head Office in Saskatoon, SK. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for performing in-depth rate analysis to ensure the Company is competitive in the industry and profitable. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Department to ensure the Company is meeting service requirements while maximizing profitability and will report directly to the Pricing Supervisor.

This position is Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFP)
• Reviews annual contracts
• Interpret numerical data and provide recommendations and projections on cost, regions, and markets
• Maintain database with accurate entry of rate changes
• Monitor special price requests by the sales department
• Stay apprised of competitor rates and sales trends
• Identify opportunities to develop sales through pricing strategies

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical skills, good ability for problem solving
• Strong understanding Microsoft Excel
• Business or Economic degree preferred
• Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
