Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Dispatch Administrator at their Edmonton, AB location.
This position is Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to meet customer requirements while maintaining safe and efficient operations
- Book customer appointments
- Monitor equipment and schedule for maintenance/repairs as required
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding status of shipments
- Coordinate preventative maintenance
- Handle various administrative duties

Qualifications
- Experience in the Transportation Industry
- Experience with TMW is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge and experience in handling various kinds of freight
- Knowledge of Hours of Service and Electronic Logs
- Strong decision making skills
- Good knowledge of city and highway routes
