Responsibilities

• Conduct all aspects of driver recruitment - reviewing applications, conducting interviews, validating documents, completing reference checks and coordinating pre-screening testing
• Work closely with the Operations Managers to meet staffing requirements
• Assist with the delivery of company orientations
• Prepare personnel files
• Participate in job fairs, trade shows, and truck stop recruiting
• Assist in the maintenance of policies & procedures and reporting tools as it relates to Company recruitment
• Assist in establishing & maintaining strategies, projects & creative initiatives that meet driver recruitment needs

Qualifications

• Required -
• Experience in a Recruitment role
• Must be decisive, creative & organized
• Effective communication skills
• Professional demeanor
• Strong commitment to customer service
• An aggressive drive for results
• Preferred -
• Class 1A License
• Previous experience in transport industry
• A background in sales
